He used me as a spotter but he didn't need too he was in the hole without my help but asked for it anyways

I didn't back this load in, blindside and a very small space. My trainer said that these people were only here until 2:30pm so I would run out of time lol

I got lucky I only had to unload 1 by hand and that's because I caught it before it fell. But live unload by the company just sitting and waiting getting a history lesson from my trainer about the old Mack truck this place has sitting beside us.

That was the dock they loaded us from. That looked like it used to be the ramp for fork lifts to go in a building but that building was long gone. The forklift guy just loaded us up with his companies stuff My trainer said in his 5 years with averitt he'd never seen anything like that place

That's a cool story although I have no idea what anything about the truck meant besides it being a Mack lol. My trainer said I didn't suck and I didn't fail I just am inexperienced and every single driver on the road has did the same thing I did this morning. He said only thing I can do it...

This was a parking lot so open and so empty of debris or other trucks and the Tarmac itself was flat and smooth. Probably couldn't have been any better of a situation and I did awful. I did a much better job at a much tighter busier dock on a rainy day

Are the shorter trailers easier to back up or harder?

If only that thought had come to mind 15-20 tries before it would've been handy lol. I got tunnel vision and that stubborn mule syndrome all at once lol

I had a choice but for some dumb reason my brain thought I could do it. My trainer probably just wanted me to learn to asses the situation and make the best choice. Which I failed to do because of my lack of experience, I think he wanted to have one of those teaching moments lol.

Seriously took like 25 try's before I finally got it in the dock. The agreement before with my trainer was you do your best I'll tell you if you are about to hit something. Boy do I wanna get better at backing lol
