I was wondering, they use at least as much salt and I would say even more than we do in Japan. That was the very first thing that I notice about the cooking over there. I wonder what their BP is like?

That is just one of the reasons we want to buy a freezer for the truck. Cooking our own meals at home would cut down on the sodium DRASTICALLY!!! It would pay for it self quickly too. The flavor, well let's see, homemade venison stew or a "J" Buffet? :rolleyes:

Sure there is, I know that, however, many don't even do that much!! I try to eat only meat that I shot and fish that I catch when home. Better for you, and I KNOW how it was handled!! More flavor than that production stuff sold in stores. What people call "that gamey taste" is actually flavor...
