Moose, This is even more important for the diesel van owners to keep their fuel filters changed. Believe me.. it is NOT fun to try to change it by yourself, when it's like 10 degrees. :eek: Dale

These were local, regular firemen. I agree, there could have been a 'penalty fee' assessed, or something.. even a 'trip fee' like some of our local EMT's assess, would have been better than letting the house burn. Dale

20 is very do-able... I get 21 plus with mine if I keep it about 62mph (7.3 powerstroke).. but still, it's hard to consistantly make enough money to support a driver AND owner with a van.. I couldn't do it without getting all the money... at least not right now.. Dale

I agree it is harder for a single. Fedex's model is "usually" straight thru... whereas other companies seem to book freight that's not "as" urgent. Its nice to get the cool loads, but a mix would be nice, i must admit.

Van or straight? I can tell you they book most loads straight thru... so if its over 550 (straight) or 700 (van) its goin team.. unless its a weekend load. Dale

Push the speak button, listen enough to see what it is, push 'right' arrow, then 'left'.. it will remove the lighted envelope 'new message' notification. Either way, if you tap the "home" icon, it will exit the message and go back to home screen. Dale
