This has had a dramatic and negative effect on rates. Do the math - a carrier has an office building, executive team, sales and marketing, operations, safety and dispatch. Billy comes with his single truck and of course he can underbid everyone. You never know who has impacted the rates...

Okay, I have seen Avatar and Up In The Air . Both were worth it! What have you seen lately? Also, what is your preferred method? Movie theater? DVD? Streaming? (Netflix, etc).

What's are the road conditions in your area right now? Here in Northern Kentucky the snow removal crews have done a great job. We still have snow on the side streets, the Interstates are clear of snow, but as the temperatures drop (1/8/10) I-71/75 is getting slick....I know. Stay safe.
