I can answer this one, yes there is a safety bonus, a real nice pin (for your hat or whatever) and a purty sticker for your truck window. Hope this helps.

I just checked our numbers, in 2010 at this time we had 35 runs, (truck was in the shop most of Jan due to another truck running into us at the Baytown J ) of those 35 runs 15 were over 1000 miles and 3 were over 2000 miles. So far this year we have 47 runs with 7 runs being over 1000 miles...

Yes it does, in fact a few weeks ago a surface unit truck was replaced by a new truck, and went right into the WG fleet.

There are no "spots" in surface, just the downtrodden masses. :D

If the truck is being sold by the owner (not a dealer) and the truck is not being replaced in the fleet by another truck, it can be sold with a "spot" in the fleet.

That's what I was getting at, I never heard of a truck coming from a dealer that still had a spot in the fleet. But as we all know rules can change in an instant, and a spot can open up for certain people even though other people have been waiting in line for quite some time.

It makes ya' wonder.

Understood, but why would you buy a reefer truck if you are not in the white glove fleet?

I am also curious about the choice of a reefer truck, as I am pretty sure you have to be white glove to get reefer loads.

I just checked Wikipedia and there are no updates, so I guess we can assume that noone survived. :rolleyes:

Just be sure to put a fake reefer unit on the roof, and no one would know that you were using a freezer. Our buddy Steve from N' Hampsha' was in a BR unit for the last year and a half, and was doing pretty good with it. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App
