That's my point... Heavy snow, i understand, but because its cold.... I just don't get it.

Bull titties! We have had school buses since i was a drip on my dads leg and they all started in the cold. This has to do with wimpy kids.

I get all that and can see the point in a rural setting, but SE Michigan is hardly rural. Its cold.... tough bazookies! Bundle up.

That's my point.... this is Michigan. It is supposed to be cold in the winter. I dont remember schools closing due to cold. It got cold, we got bundled up and went to school.

Maybe im old and dont remember, but as i sit here watching the news, a banner scrolling along the bottom of the screen lists the schools closed due to the cold temps. REALLY!!! I can understand a snow storm, but due to cold? Give me a break! When did this crap start? Rant over.
