    Are you prepared?

On my way out my door I would have my first aid kit and a blanket in hand.My second thought would be how to secure the accident scene to prevent another event. My next thought would be when am I going to have time to clean out my drawers. About following too close.I have allways used 3...

    vans and logs

I think you are right Leo. In the event of an accident,I think the lawyers would have a field day, if you said you were off duty,if in fact you were working your butt off. They can come up with all kinds of ways to get you.Fuel, toll reciepts, cell phone records etc.

Would I have to take the bag off my head? Trust me you would probably prefer I leave it on!

    vans and logs

This is a great question Leo. When I ran a van in the olden days for Roberts Express, our safety dept required only that we provide a log for the previous day. I can see why a DOT could claim, that you need the previous 7 days. Fortunatly I never was stopped while loaded W/Hazmat.

    WALMART

    > Redytrk is correct, the Road Atlas lists all locations, and >it only costs $5.00. Which is good, as it's unlaminated, & >therefor subject to wear & tear. And spilled coffee.....:o I cover mine with clear Contact Paper. Makes it last thru the year, then I pass it on to a relitave, and get a...

    WALMART

If you buy a copy of Rand Mcnally Road Atlas at Walmart, there is a section showing every location. It even shows what exit to use for those locations close to an interstate.

    HOS (HOUR OF SERIVE) NEWBIE

Sleeper berth time does not mean asleep for 11 hours. It is quite common to have 11 hours combined with TV,computer, relaxation. I doubt that any DOT would question this.
