I understood that to be the case. It just caught me off guard because I've never been asked that question before. Also, my Sprinter does have lettering & decals .... o_O. I emailed over a photo & I guess it passed the sniff test, so I got the load. I bought my Sprinter from a freight forwarder...

On a load I did last week for one of the major carriers, they wanted to confirm that my vehicle was free of lettering. That's the first time I've ever been asked that question. How's that for a sign of the times?!

With all the downward pressure on carriers & owner/ops, how long before someone creates an easy, seamless way for direct customers to ship freight? Something that is real time & less cumbersome ... These folks just hired on someone that served as the Director of Business Development at XPO...

Again ..... cents per mi vs dollars .... You're providing a premium service! It's not about your operating cost cpm ... If you can run a little leaner than most, great ... you should make that additional profit on top of your earnings ... Is your operating cpm really just fuel ...?
