Parts availability and a network of well-stocked dealerships are important considerations. TJP, are you being serviced by a substandard dealership? Having one's livelihood suspended for 8 weeks is quite a drag on income. I would be most displeased with a one week delay.

Hey Falligator... Saturday I delivered mining supplies in Carlsbad,NM at 8am, then within an hour dashed over to El Paso for a load headed to Louisville, KY. El Paso has always been good to me.

Banning the Sprinter would not effect my operations at all. All my freight is 1-3 skids of standard size. I cannot be convinced Sprinters are reasonably priced for expediting applications. Just an opinion.

Dakota, I am cheap! My $4500 van grossed $39K in the first 6 months of this year. That's a decent ROI. Why would I buy a $40,000 van to do this work?
