    Too many miles

We have had months where we maxed out the miles and the legal hours and it was brutal. I guess if we did that month after month it could be difficult to sustain. We just take a short recovery break during those times and reset. Are they not allowed to take a break? Sounds odd to me.

    Nuts!

Exactly, that is why I qualified my statement as the "dumbest FINANCIAL decision" I then enlisted in the Air Force and have lived life as one adventure after another and have no regrets. Uhmm, okay, make that "few regrets"

    Nuts!

Wow! That is a sad testimonial and I hope parents don't teach that attitude to their children. It is only "brain numbing" if you have no ambition to work your way up the ladder. My first "employment" was with Domino's delivering pizza at age 16. I was a Store Manager during my senior year in...

    Nuts!

Actually it is a joke if you are relating it to the fast food outlets in America. I was required to go watch a video and take a ridiculous multiple choice test once a year to renew my food handlers card. The Health Inspectors? You don't even want to know.

    Nuts!

From a different but related article: This is a huge part of the problem. Parents setting an example of how you are entitled to things and must demand them instead of working for them. Funny that he doesn't even have the balz to commit to a real strike. A one day strike is like a child...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

Yes, my M&P15 is only 6.85 lbs without the magazine. I love the material for reasons you describe but it is funny that some relatives have asked if it is real because the composite looks like plastic. Irrelevant to the OP though. :p Yes, that is basically it because it is very impracticable...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

Urethane foam breaks down at 275 degrees. Do you know how hot a bullet gets while it is being fired? That has been the problem with the "plastic" guns.

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

A zip gun has metal. According to your article it can be disguised as many things (ex: cellphone) but it can be detected so that is why we put cell phones through the scanner. How does this relate?

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

It holds one bullet. After firing the plastic must cool off and another bullet must be loaded. I wonder how patient the bystanders would be? The obvious advantage is that you can sneak it through security. How do you sneak the 6 metal bullets in? Of course a .38 bullet can be lethal if it...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

Too late. The State Department already shut them down but not before 100,000 people downloaded the blue prints. The problem according to State is that they are undetectable by xray because they are all plastic. Actually, they have a metal firing pin (a common nail) and the plan calls for a...

While POTUS Tries to Re-think What a Red Line Is...

When a man who urinates in parking lots and wears a hat, sun glasses and a trench coat prefaces his statement with "And quite honestly" I expect some craziness to follow. This one did not disappoint. :p

    Very interesting quizzes

According to the Executive Summary, Atheists and Agnostics had the highest scores on the actual survey. So the "food for thought"? Perhaps Atheists and Agnostics arrive at their conclusion after thoroughly educating themselves about religion and not out of religious ignorance as some may...

    Very interesting quizzes

My results from the science test: You answered 12 of 13 questions correctly. You scored better than 85% of the public, below 7% and the same as 8%. My results from the religion test: You are going straight to hell!

    Texas Math Curriculum

I got a 90%! I would've had a 100% but the first question is bogus. :( Although having a moon pie and some change left over is pretty much like winning the lottery, it is impossible to prove.

Target zo..., uh, gun free zones

From the article: ? Question: Do you ever read any "real" news articles or only commentaries that fit your opinion and/or agenda? I am not defending Obama because what has been happening in Chicago since the 1920s has little to nothing to do with Obama. Further, I somehow doubt that...

    Media/public double standard

From the article: "hated"?? . . . "since entering" ?? When a news story starts out with opinions like that and then launches into a straw man argument in an attempt to prove it, that in itself is a biased commentary.

    It's starting.

Re: It starting. Good job! You were able to debunk your own O.P. So the map is referring to states that have more " takers than makers". In other words the number of employed people to the number of welfare recipients with no reference to income comparisons. They seem to have...

    The Reason

Agreed. Thanks for the links. I guess the .85 I am paying per round is not outrageous when compared to the average prices online. It is just bothersome to spend $890.00 for 1000 rounds of ammo to put in an M&P15 that cost me $900.00. Can you give me an exact date when the takeover attempt...

Re: It starting. I hate to nit pick (not really) but could you proof read your title? Otherwise, do you have a source for the article? It is eye opening if true.

    The Reason

My 5.56 umbrella is running out of effectiveness. My local umbrella store will only sell me 2 boxes at a time @ $17.00 each. That's 85 cents every time I open up my umbrella. Any good online sources that aren't out of stock?
