It seems that courier companies are the latest group to jump in the expedite market. Courier companies have always been near the bottom of the scale when it comes to freight rates. They typically don't run the freight lanes or freight as expedited carriers do.

Tony, Sunday at 8:00 pm was just a suggestion - along the lines when Wendy used to head up the Live Chat Sessions. I had received a couple emails from drivers who wanted to be there but missed it. So I say let the Forum Members decide. You did such a great job on keeping the topics rolling...

JJ, It was a great chat session! We had over 25 drivers visit. I suggest the next session should be Sunday nights at 7:00 or 8:00 pm EST.

Oh yea, one other thing. We will have a Virtual Smokey there so please "Drive Responsibly". Remember - Freinds don't let freinds drink and surf the Internet". LOL!;-)

Great idea! We use to have a moderator who did a chat every other Sunday night. At times we would have 30 drivers at once. She would come up with a few topics of discussion before the session so everyone knew what the group was addressing. So may I suggest that we pick a few topics?

I think most "B Units" have the two (48x48) skid rule. The exeption might be a full size Freightliner Sprinter that may be able to handle 4 double stacked.

I would recommmend AT&T Nationwide service. We have always had great service and have never spent a dime of roaming or long dsitance fees. I also enjoy their 2 way text/e-mail service. For $39.95 I get 200 anytime minutes and 500 after hours minutes.

Also, many self serve car washes are too small for a Cargo Van with a Qualcom on top.
