Guido... my Ford vans have been loaded well over a thousand times in the past ten years. Zero transmission problems. I have't used wheel chocks on a van. Not a bad idea though. I am particular about not allowing my vans to be loaded roughly or going over GVWR.

desdes... I just added a 3rd Ford E350 w/7.3 Powerstroke to my small fleet of vans. Their longevity and reliability are well established. The Duramax engines may be equally good, but having no personal experience with them, I can't speak to their merits.

I'm sure the Obamas would prefer to socialize with Winnie Mandela rather than the Queen of England. There is so much common ground there.
