    Big Truck Tire Balance

Thanks. I've used the beads or powder balancers in the past with good results. Haven't seen them in a while though. I don't have an issue of throwing weights, I have stick on weights, that I cover with a strip of gorilla duct tape. Never lost any. My concern has been after a good balance, the...

    Big Truck Tire Balance

Thanks. They look like they would solve the problem of off center mounting, an issue I have often noticed and wondered about. Auto lug nuts are tapered to self center, but truck lug nuts are just flat on the back.

    It's a Team's Life Driver Pay

I can see where "some" carriers might see that as a way to expect more than they should from a driver. I've known several dispatchers over the years on salary who got burnt out and quit because the carrier expected them to work 70 - 75 hours a week, while paying a salary based on 40 - 60 hours...

    paper logs

That is why a driver I know is at Zipp. The truck wasn't compatible with elogs. I'm sure there are other companies that run paper logs as well, maybe someone else will chime in with some others.

    paper logs

Yes. If you run elogs, you should/ have to carry a paper log book for a back up.

    paper logs

I know Zipp is still on paper logs. Only one I know for sure, but I'm sure there are others. If you run legal, it doesn't matter if it is elogs or paper.

TT total weight has to be 80k lbs or less...what about straight truck?

In the past year, I have only had to scale a load once. I usually am not even close to my weight limit.

TT total weight has to be 80k lbs or less...what about straight truck?

Only when the load is close to legal limits, then I will scale to verify the weight and the correct amount of weight per axle. I have a 2 axle ( 33,000GVWR ) straight truck.

TT total weight has to be 80k lbs or less...what about straight truck?

If it is a 2 axle truck, then it will most likely be 33,000 or less.

TT total weight has to be 80k lbs or less...what about straight truck?

If you have a particular straight truck in mind, and accessible, check the GVWR in the door jamb

No. You shouldn't pick and choose which laws ( or court orders) to follow.

    Comdata Fleet Advance App

The only glitch that I have noticed so far, is that some fuel stops/ truck stops will show on the map in the wrong location. But the prices (with the discounts) have been accurate.
