I would agree. With the fuel cost you will experience, I think a straight truck would actually net you more money. Loads would be easier to obtain as well. I really think the small truck class runs out of appeal & value as soon as the vehicle goes over 10,000 GVW. You MIGHT pick up some dock...

I'm thinking those front axles and U-joints better be top grade and super strong though. That's the weak link in front wheel drive, especially in a tough service situation. I wouldn't buy the first year of this one.

I'm with xiggi on this one... the front wheel drive AND long wheelbase will still leave plenty of weight on the rears, with the fronts pulling them. Winter traction and stability will be superior. Stupid GVWs though!

What I always find most interesting about such issues is, those that demand I have "tolerance" of their views have, without exception, no tolerance of my views. :confused:

I really liked the specs, especially the lower floor height, until I read they made the sucker 83" wide!!! Why? Just so they can advertise the widest width? The real MPGs they would have saved with a lower roof height flew out the window with that width. Then the GVWs make no sense at all...

Yes, but you must bring everything with you, including towels & soap. The shower house is NOT top notch, but passable. Assuming Canadians can swim, you can also swim at the beach in the lake. If you have a fishing pole, you can fish too.
