    Cargo Van Dodge ProMaster

My run yesterday was a little faster (about 64 mph) with a fair amount of respectful drafting resulted in a surprising 23.81 mpg. I will see if that's repeatable. Sent from my SM-N900V using EO Forums mobile app

You're a $printer nut! What's more important is that's it's the first time it's hauled that much weight, which is about as much as a $printer can haul legally, including driver and equipment... although my Promaster can haul another 1,600 lbs. or so! I know you are not impressed but I am...

At 5,600 miles, my 159" extended has averaged 19.7 mpg overall and is getting better... just got 19.87 mpg hauling 2,490 lbs. 390 miles...

There is only one final drive ratio, although I do not know what it is. There is no option. However the drive ratio is fine. It is the fact that there are 6 speeds and they're so close together while the transmission logic allows it to shift willy-nilly at the slightest increase in elevation. If...

Tell them that the automatic transmission is programed stupidly. At the very least, when it's in manual mode, IT SHOULD NOT STILL SHIFT AUTOMATICALLY!!! What good is the manual mode if the darn thing just continues to shift as it wants to automatically??? Tell them whether in automatic or...

Driving gently means about 62 MPH on the freeway, unless traffic is heavy and we are holding too many people up. We drive like there are egg a taped to the pedals... no hard braking or accelerating.

No problems with ours as of yet. We own the 159wb extended version and it returns almost exactly 20 mpg when driven gently!

    New ford transit

Same thing here except I attached a 16 ga. steel sheet to one flat side of the 2 x 4 so the lift operators would not be able to split it with their forks

    Mattress replacement

There is a company here in Holland, MI called Spine Align that will make a custom size mattress for you... ask for Tom. They have plenty of room to park your truck and they are on a business route.

A lot of them are working another thread picking on me. I should learn not to post outside of the Load-1 thread...

    Becoming a fleet owner

All I care about is my trucks. The Promaster easily makes it on 20%! Like I said already, you pay your imaginary drivers to drive your imaginary trucks to whatever imaginary profit or loss you want. I'm paying what I pay and I have drivers waiting to drive the truck I just bought and the next...

And they will likely lose their new owner when he needs to buy another truck and can't. I've seen it happen many times.

    Becoming a fleet owner

Thanks Skyraider! It's always a much clearer view when it's real money, drivers, and trucks! Walk a mile in my shoes and you won't be giving away the farm... at least for long!

    Becoming a fleet owner

You pay whatever you want to (if you have a fleet) and I'll pay what I do. I don't think a current fleet owner has responded yet.

OK. 40% and I pay fuel. No FSC to the driver. That's what I've been saying. However, I am not going to give the FSC AND pay another 20% on top of that!
