On average my bet says sprinters earn more revenue than a cargo van. When set up right you will always have more loads available to a sprinter than a cargo van. The comfort level also makes it easier to stay out for longer periods of time earning more money.

If your going to be buying an older truck I would do some research first. I would check the cost of an in frame, common parts like alternators etc on different engines. It could save you big dollars down the road.
