According to the weather averages...the ground should be ready to work mid April..most folks around here don't plant until the end of May but I don't wanna wait that long!!!
Man is this house ever quiet when Ken leaves...cats are sleeping and haven't got the tv or radio on..all I can hear is the wind outside...now where the heck did he put the remote?:confused:
Made the mistake of running the truck thru a new car wash in town and spent about an hour polishing off...
They say "Beware the Ides of March", but that snow is melting fast off my garden now..then it's got to dry out and get tilled. In the meantime, I'll sit on the front deck and watch the snow melt and enjoy the sun on my face. :)
I'd like to thank all of you for your kind words with the loss of my Mother. My sons have returned east now and it's time to get back to as normal. Think I'll keep Ken home for today at least as I gave him my cold and it's a bad one. But I'm sure glad he's home.
Thinking Guido has a good point with that drip pan..and if I wanted to freeze I could always defrost the freezer...*l*

The calendar says it should be green and spring out...and I'm sure there IS some green under all that snow...but it's going to be too cold to melt the snow cover for another 10 days at least...
I keep trying to find busy work until I can get into the garden and am running out...any hints or...
