Got the collard greens and green beans planted and it's watered...hope we get that rain tonight cuz it's just so much better for the garden!:) This puts me about the half way mark for planting the garden...not bad for May 3rd...

well I LUV em...got four rosebushes planted and just repotted a couple pots with red, white and blue pansies..just being patriotic..:D

And the roses are in the ground...I'll use the fabric around them and think I'm going to weight that down with stones. You've gotta be real careful what you sprinkle on the ground up here...almost never have a day without wind..so I'll be tilling and pulling between the rows that I didn't...

FINALLY! It's supposed to be above freezing at night now...so I'm off the plant my roses..luckily nothing had broken thru the soil in my garden so am guessing I'm safe there...might have to plant some collards today. Still going to wait a bit on the tomatoes and peppers.
