Small towns are cool...the electrician putting in the new outlets is going to bring me some strawberry plants and some raspberry plants next spring when the new runners and shoots come out..gotta love it!

I just tried one of those clip on to your belt OFF fan circulating mosquito repellant devices..works pretty well when you're sitting still but not so much when you're creating a draft with the riding mower. It beats spraying your skin with bug spray.

Good news is the cukes are getting watered naturally today...couple more rain days and they should really start shooting up..:)

Finally...a day off! Got a gentle rain doing my outside work for me! Just got the lawns mowed and the kitchen painted..so today I play, cook and putter!:)

So my morning drama ended with all's well..my kitten escaped last night when I was putting a bowl of food out for the outside cat. Then she got real stubborn and wouldn't come in no matter how many times I called her. So Mama decided to teach the cat the lesson of I wasn't waiting up all blessed...
