    how are CVs running lately?

I would say the statement that they are making "good" money off your 35 a week is far from the truth. By the time they pay for broken units messed up wires, tech costs and all else I doubt if it amounts to much at all. Does it cost them much to keep a truck on and not moving probably not for...

    how are CVs running lately?

You really think companies make good money when we are not moving? What they charge for a qc sure isnt going to cover the cost of dispatchers let alone other overhead expenses.

    EOBR Regulation Vacated by Court

Civil rights? Now that is a major stretch. Lump it right in their with healthcare and all the other junk they try to claim as civil rights now days, even cell phones and internet access.

    Our new website!

Nice looking site and easy to navigate. The truck search shows you what dispatch is up against when trying to get a driver loaded.

    Hurricane Irene: history or hysteria?

8 dead so far and two million without power. It may not be the biggest but it is affecting a huge number of people compared to the normal hurricane.

And a person who has forced education such as done by regulation will have even less will to retain it.

How big is yours? And why do some keep touching it while driving?

My gps is your typical 4 inch. I have zero desire to have any larger. Things on my dash or window is not something I like to have. I think the bigger screens are too much to have in your field of vision but I have to say I have never had one any larger so that is just a guess on my part. I...

Regulation hasn't done much to get the idiot semi drivers off the road. Education does more than regulation ever will.

There are bad drivers driving all kinds of vehicles. The number of big truck drivers I see ten foot off someones bumper is crazy. The problem is people not what they drive. I had an 18 wheeler run me off onto the shoulder the other day and that was an open interstate at 65mph.

    Hurricane Run

I stayed in Raleigh until about 5 pm today, it had just started raining at that point. I moved about 50 miles west to Haw River partly cloudy and 15 degrees warmer here than in Raleigh.

    We are expediters

I missed something, haven't seen anyone fighting about who is or has the best. I have seen people proud of or not happy with their carrier but not really people saying the one they work for is better than the next persons. Nothing wrong with showing some pride in your carrier.

    Weather Alert-Hurricane/Tropical Storm

I am in Raleigh NC. The Golden Corral across the street had about 5 Red Cross disaster relief trucks sitting in it's parking lot at dinner time tonight. Looks like they are staging in preparation.

New Driver - Who to Drive For??

A true average mpg in a sprinter is more like 19 - 22 over the long run. Regardless what they might say no one is averaging 26 in one.
