Hey hey hey...this is a family channel...*lol* Man I've been so busy with the grandkids I really need to go check my garden! After I pick up the house and wash towels and sheets and dishes and floors...whew...and yep..I wept when they left....:o

It'll be all better when Big Daddy is running again..:) I wonder if anyone else names their truck??

One thing about kids..in and out..in and out..I musta killed 50 flies in the last hour...*lol*

Picked enough cukes this morning for creamed cukes for the son and another 6 quarts of pickles...and I have my eye on a canteloupe that is about 4 inches around now..:)

So this morning..the son dug the potatoes, the kids picked the beans, a cousin picked the peppers so she could try that popper recipe and I found 6 ripe tomatoes! So we'll be having garlic mashed taters, green beans and barbecued chicken when the kids get back from riding horses at the ranch...

You'd better raise those eyeballs son..in the face...not the chest! :p

8 quarts pickled..poppers went over pretty good...but I noticed the heat in the jalapenos even more with this batch. The little ones are hard to keep up with..guess I'm a little out of practice..*l* They're off to their first rodeo this evening and granny's making home made buns and banana...

*kicking my heels together and turning cartwheels*..the grandkids have gone sight seeing...ah the peace and quiet!!!:D

Just a quick report while they're shopping for their boots to go to the rodeo...had 2 of the grandkids helping pick about a dishpan full of cukes that we'll pickle this afternoon...and a good handful of jalapenos and banana peppers for poppers to go with the lasagna for supper... now off to...
