    TST

You're right on the money with that observation - and you definitely won't make much with TST unless you take Canadian freight.

    TST

If you don't mind running intra-Canada or back and forth between the Mid-Western US and Canada, they're fine. However, they don't have much of a presence south of the Mason-Dixon line. They also have a fair amount of moves in and out of the Cincinnatti area for Ford.

    south frieght

You should have no trouble at all getting runs out of the South with a team, especially out of the Memphis area. There's also a lot of freight going back into the Canton,MS area now. Research the archives on this site, and talk to the recruiters and other drivers. There are several good expedite...

Team Versus Singles and HOS Rules.

ABC - are you saying that your company is using a 55 mph standard for straight trucks and a 65 mph standard for vans? This would be a significant departure from the 45 mph that almost every other company goes by.

    Tri-State: Fact or Fiction

Just a couple of points about Tri State's new policies: (1) Their method of pricing to their customers has in the past been based on the WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS OF THE CARGO - not the size of vehicle they're using (refer to message #4 in this thread). For example, A & B catagories specify maximum...

    Working for yourself

If you're in MI, you might want to check out TST. Their number is 866-564-6878. They seem to have a lot of business in that area, pay pretty well and don't use HHG miles. Good luck with whatever you find.

    Medium Sized Expedite Companies

I too am looking for a good expediter to work for, preferably based in the Southeast US. I like the idea of working for a smaller company where you won't get lost in the crowd. Can anyone offer any info about Nations Express or All State Express? Do they have enough customer base to keep you...
