That 8550 is your GVW. What did your van weigh when you went down the street when you signed on? That weight less the 8550 = the weight you can carry. I get a lot of loads with 3 skids up to 2900 lbs.

I was in labor with a stone last year....good thing I didn't have a gun. Unloaded went to truckstop, and bounced around in the van like a bb in a beer can for 5 hours. All with no pain meds. It stoped moving and I slept for 10 hours.....no fun. Took another three weeks for it to come out..again...

Looks like you don't need to hurry. My scouts say it is very slow. 1 has been in service since the week before Christmas and has not even had a call. But, he is only 30 miles from me...he was still there this morning. 25 here snow in the area but none here yet.

We were told that a driver's council is in the works, (3 or 4 months now), but who knows when that will happen. I don't know if it will be of any help to everyone, but I can see it being a good tool for newbes. I don't know what good a "Go between" would do for me that I can't do myself......
