Morning gang! Kinda nippy out here this morning. It's going to be a good day for yard work! :)

Ken's almost hit that with his sprinter...but then he has about 500,000 on the old cargo van.

Leeks.. Check! All processed and have a gallon bag full for my potato leeks soup!

Gonna have a lot of potato-leek soup this year.. Got it all dug up and chopped and cleaned and filled a gallon bag full!

pffffffffft 5 different locations!!! We ARE the county seat...lol And four out of five are on main street (2 blocks long) lol

Gotta love a small town, bills paid, went to the bank, the courthouse, the post office, grocery store and the electric company in less than half an hour..now on to the the garden and watering!

And I thought it was just me...ac on yesterday..turned that off in the middle of the night and opened a few windows and now the heat is on! Don't ya just love fall?

Ken's dug up a couple buckets of potatoes and I put up more salsa today. Slowly the garden is working down!

Boy I don't know how Ken does it.. Total of six hours driving and a couple hours in walmart wore my butt out! Now he's hauling in all the wood he's cut and I'm babying my ankle after only 3 loads of laundry and cooked up a big pot of ham and scalloped potatoes.

My man can go through a box of bandaids when he's home...lol

Making my everything but the kitchen sink soup..beef, smoked sausage, onions (both red and white) garlic,green peppers, jalapeno, cabbage, potatoes and a can of tomato soup, beef broth and a jar of my canned tomatoes..hope it turns out good!

I really like that second one!

Ken helped me yank a couple bushes out before he went down to start on the trees again. So far 3 flower beds cleaned up and I dug up all the garlic and am making him a meat loaf.

It's a good day...he's putting up wood for the winter and I'm putting up salsa!
