I always wondered how they check hydraulic systems for brake issues (look for leaks/cracks/etc, I guess). While I'm under a virtual truck, what DO they look for on an air system, anyway? Besides the obvious (slack adjusters, hissing lines, etc)...

Re: Carry pieces I don't carry because I'm on the road and have no idea where I could do so legally. I have a PA carry permit, but it probably wouldn't be honored in Illinois :rolleyes:

Did daddy duty on Thursday, then quiet weekend at home. Went to son's house for a nice evening; eagerly awaiting son's impending fatherhood later in the month! :) Run last night, Lewisberry PA to Midlothian, VA. Run included flat tire with freight on board; delivered on time anyway (yay AAA)...

Did two back-to-back nuke runs in March. One place went all-out with the fatigues/automatic weapons/etc routine, the other two places used just stout fencing and guards with sidearms. Not that it bothers me, I try to be good :) I do, however, think a little poorly of having to prove my...
