Straight truck body height and width

Yellows, Roadways, Dollar Signs, etc on 80 in PA in the 70's. Daycabs with Detroits, screaming up the hills at 15 or 20 mph, rolling coal like a choo choo train  , and me in my Nova passing them at a then-illegal 64 mph like they were standing still... Yes, I remember :)

Straight truck body height and width

I drove a UHaul truck up I81 for a moving client back in 2004. An '88 International 26' with a 210-hp 7.3 non-turbo and a 5 speed. Between Pine Grove and Hazleton, the hills get a mite steep. This truck climbed them in third, engine screaming, at a breathtaking 28 mph. A three-year-old on a Big...

it's october where are you at!

Left there at 1730 yesterday, deadheaded 880 miles home. Slept at J in Spiceland, Ind, then finished today. It was either blow $150+ on fuel, or resent not being with my wife, etc. Tomorrow we go to my son's house for my grandson's first birthday :D $cru the money; some things are more important.

Your storm is here now, in Sullivan. I'm keeping a close eye on it because if things start getting spinny, I don't know what to do

Nothing out of Kansas last Thursday or Friday. I move to KC. Monday, two calls for runs to Texas. Yesterday, a Tennessee run, hook not set. I move toward St. Louis. Today, one call about a run to Nebraska. Turned it down, as I want to go East. Where is the freight anyway?

Hey Kickstarter, if you get another run to Breinigsville, send it to me. I live 50 miles away :)

Weird coincidence? Kansas City beats Oakland, 9-8 in 12 innings. Both cities have hosted the Athletics. Your humble poster comes from Philadelphia, the original home of what team? Yup, the A's. Well, goodnight from Cards country :p

    Hyundai long tall van

This is a European-market vehicle, so the "350" probably means 3500 kg GVW. That's the upper limit in Europe for a regular license. Above that is CDL territory.

    Phones Cell phone carriers

I have a no-contract Verizon phone. Only 3G but the service is awesome. Full bars in North Dakota awesome :) . Unlimited talk & text, $45 including 500 megs of data. Additional data costs $5 for 500 megs, $10 for a gig, and $20 for 3 gigs. I'm happy

    America's Mailbox, Box Elder SD

Sign me up for the brown side  . I remember what James Carville said about PA; Philly and Pittsburgh in the corners, Alabama in the middle :) I will always love Pennsylvania, but I don't think I can afford it anymore :(

    America's Mailbox, Box Elder SD

I hear good things about them, as well as the one I posted about. One trip to SD wouldn't hurt, IMHO; there's touristy stuff up there. Tags on the van would be $130, vs $153 in PA. No property tax either state. Also, SD doesn't have state income tax :)

    Canada FAST card

Thanks, Scott. Wondering about the timeframe between applying online and getting the appointment.

    America's Mailbox, Box Elder SD

Apparently, you can use their address as a physical address. It caters to rv'ers. You can get South Dakota plates, license, even register to vote. I've looked into it a bit, seems to be in conformity with SD law. I had Progressive do a quote; I would save over $800 by doing this.
