I read the posts. If they knew ahead of time then they shouldn't be complaining about how much they got paid. It's called negotiating. That's not self explanatory.
Did the swearing come while you were standing in front of them or over the telephone?
God says to turn the other cheek. I turn the other cheek while I'm winding up for a pass.
Let's see if I can explain this. Detroits sometimes have a freeze plug problem caused by the thermostat. If the water heats up to operating temperature and the water pump is pumping at high rpms with the engine running but the thermostat does not open all the way. When this happens the added...
Heard an interesting thing on Chris Wallace Fox panel. Mr. Wan (not sure how to spell it) made a bold statement.
He said "The reason no one has officially thrown their hat in the Gop race is no one thinks O'bama can be beaten".
Another "Numb Nut in the closet".:D
If you have a temporary tag and no signs or lettering on the truck your considered to be a private vehicle. Make sure you have insurance. That's in Ga. Let me ad also if you are driving and you are on the title p/work.
That would be kind of scary taking on a new truck new in country. I can just imagine the parts problems and all. Wait a couple of years and get the bugs out. Actually looks like a Sprinter from the driver back.
Thanks for sharing those, yes they are keepers. Truckdown and NTTS are both good.
Most people also don't know that the Ryder Rental shops do outside work and carry a good sized inventory on Sprinter parts. Most people don't even think about them.
No, the lower the RPM's the cooler it is but still is hot. It is supposed to be hot in order to burn the CO2 out. Class 8 trucks will be a problem till people get used to handling them. Matter of fact all trucks will be a problem.
I have a friend who hauls freight in his Sprinter in the UK...
That's a great point that not to many look at. When I run in the south east I try to buy gas at Kroger food stores that have stations. It's hard for me to explain but a friends wife does the coupon thing really hard and she gives me the extra points. I usually get 10c off and it turns out to...
Elaborate, Wow. I know there are few drivers that could actually meet the qualifications (computer and all), the older drivers who have been around for several years and might be wanting to get off the road for whatever reason. I personally think they would be easier to train than someone...
There are some good responses from Bob & Linda and Greg and what I see is a lot of company's hiring for dispatch positions l(like Greg said) that have never been out of their own town. Most company's think you just sit someone down in front of a computer and the rest is history. I think that...
Wander how they keep people on board. Landstar in 04-05 added FSC into every rate quote to the operator and they lost out big time. Lost a lot of operators doing that.
Obama is trying his best to destroy America, but I don't think one NUMB NUT can do it.
As far as Swift paying 13 cents a mile, I didn't know they paid that well.:D
