Verizon has let people keep old plans before, when I worked there people had plans that ended a decade before.

So far as long as you purchase a phone on your own you can keep the unlimited with Verizon. I think upgrading a phone will push a lot of people over to the tiered plans because they won't have the money for a phone so Verizon may not even worry about the few remaining unlimited plans.

My wife and I are planning the exact same thing. We plan to sell the house this year and have been looking at houses in the Knoxville and Kingsport, TN area. NY seems to be chasing away it's residents with taxes and regulations. There are a few members here that live between Buffalo and Utica.

There is a small shop in Conroe, TX that did a great job fixing my AC. Luckily there are still some great shops out there but you may have to dig a little.

It isn't the end of the world but there are many cheaper options out there for schools. Some don't even go to a school and just rent a truck to train with someone that already has a license. Some places you can use a 3rd party tester instead of taking the road test through the state. I live east...
