Who's decision is it to determin which loads the truck takes, Driver or Fleet Owner?

Re: Who's decision is it to determin which loads the truck takes, Driver or Fleet Own Sounds like the driver makes the final decision, not sure the irs would see any problem.

How many people are on the roadways compared to the number fighting in wars? I'll take driving as the safer of the two.

I Need Some Advice From CV Drivers and/or Fleet Owners

Yes all their time away from home which for some reason I'll never understand a lot of drivers place no value on. Also representing you in a professional manner, food on the road etc.

    2011 sprinter repair

LThat's pretty high for an oil change. I get it done for about 160 or do it myself for about 110.00 on an 012 an air filter is about 30 bucks extra. If your talking fuel filter then I'm just plain wrong lol.

I Need Some Advice From CV Drivers and/or Fleet Owners

Typical pay is 60/40 if driver pays fuel 40/60 if owners pays it. Driver should get extras paid like hand unload, layover, ect.

    Roof Top A/C question?

I have a high profile ac unit on a sprinter close to the front. I did see a drop of about 1/2 mpg but at the same time installed a vent fan with a taller weather cover, a tv antenna and also a rear rack with generator. So not only did I increase height I increased constant weight to the van.

For Drivers that get confused often

He deserved everything he earned. I kind of doubt he had many criticizing who took it as far as he did. If others did pull off a stunt like that they need to be canned to, pun intended.

Leaving the truck for a van.

No way hotel sleeping would be affordable on a normal basis in van expediting. Check out the promaster build thread currently going on. Ebsprintin might come along he has a list a good threads to read. Personally I would cross the Nissan off my list it's just to short there are better choices...

Leaving the truck for a van.

I would look hard at the new Ford transit and the Ram promaster. I'm thinking bang for your buck right now is the promaster. Your going to want to have three skid capacity so long and tall. Many people also go the cube van route but the mpg will be lowrr.

I think the D-2 would work fine in the company sleepers. I've had both in the Sprinter and would guess it has more cubic feet than the sleepers. While the d4 defiantly kicks butt 95% of the time the d2 should have no problem in that space. On the very coldest of times like this I bet they still...
