Good Morning gang! Beautiful day here..of course I forgot to turn off my cell phone last night so I heard all the chatter..didn't know just turning off the sound on my games didn't turn off the volume on the texts. Other than that I love my new (Ken's old) IPhone! :)

The coffee's kicked in and it's the first morning of the week the wind hasn't been roaring down the plains..It's all good! :)

That hail sure did a number on the last of the cabbages...just picked them and cleaned them up..thinking cole slaw...or boiled cabbage with smoked sausage and potatoes and onions.. And that wind is so strong it was hard to stand up in the garden....durn weather!!!

First 7 quarts of dill pickles put up.

Just headed for that second cup..thinking I'll get those cukes out and pickle them today.

I've had hail storms and sideways winds 2 nights in a row now..afraid to go look at the garden... Looks like the rain is headed your way and the nasty stuff..Brooking is under what the radar is showing though.

Gotta try that.. Love it in a mix with catsup to dip shrimp in, on my eggs and especially on a good roast beef! And it's made.. Did it on the deck and it still made my eyes water! Just have a small patch so only made a pint but that will last quite a while!
