    Chipped windshield repair

Has anyone ever used the stuff they sell in truck stops to repair a chipped windshield? The one we have is a pea size.

    Problem found

Last week our transmission went out in Montana. We had to be towed 175 miles to Freightliner in Missoula. When the tow truck driver went to pull out from under us he failed to lower the lift all the way down and ripped out the bottom of our radiator. (The tow company paid the bill for that.)...

    How Much Deadhead

We try to keep the deadhead to a minimum. Nearest truck stop, etc. But there are some places we will not stay. After a load we usually DH less than 100 miles. Sometimes if you are in a dead area it is better to DH out to a better one. We had to do that last week from Dallas to Nashville. But...

    Payton Manning Drama

I hope he goes to Denver. Glad he didn't go to Miami. As a Dolphins fan I'm hoping that the new coach will build a young team around a new quarter back (maybe Matt Flynn).

    APU question

Where do they get these numbers for idling and fuel consumption? We burn .65 GPH idling. The last APU we used burned .35 GPH. The ROI is a lot longer using these figures then there claimed ones. Sent from my PG06100 using EO Forums

    Honeywell generators

I ran gas powered generators and air compressors in my construction business for 23 years. Make sure the plug wire is connected. It may snap into place. Here is my formula for starting them when they have been sitting a while. 2 pulls full choke, 1 pull half choke and then as many as necessary...

Finish this sentence...The coolest thing I have ever hauled is...

I forgot about this one. A whole truck load of dead and wounded dummies used for triage training at disaster scenes. At every weigh station I was hoping that some DOT cop would want to do a freight securement inspection. My freight was listed as training tools. Sent from my PG06100 using EO Forums

fed ex CC newbie nightmare....please help

I deleted my original post as I misunderstood the OP. Paying the drivers 40% and the owner paying for fuel is a fair deal.
