being a forklift driver doesn't make him a receiver?...some places have to scan the freight in and the after hours crew does not have access to the scanner...a situation I've run into a couple times.....takes a foreman/supervisor over ride to take the shipment outside of protocols...

Yes ... detention fee would be high... overnight fee is the cheapest way to go for customer.... Advantage to customer is the prime concern with nearly every carrier. Panther should have a “on hold “ fee for the stories we have heard.

I read that is why MB expanded the Ladson plant and actually making the Sprinter in the USA now...so they can offer more models the 4x4 will be available and the electric model in the near future as well..and respond to optional equip. needs faster...now they have competition from Dodge and Ford...
