    2014 Dodge ProMaster 3500 3.0 I-4 Diesel vs 2015 Ford Transit 350 I-5 3.2 Diesel

You'd think that with the amount of computers this van has in it, it would have the computing power to calculate the speed with more accuracy. Let's see if I remember all of them. Engine, transmission, instrument cluster, abs, climate control, SKREEM, even the shifter has its own computer. I am...

    2014 Dodge ProMaster 3500 3.0 I-4 Diesel vs 2015 Ford Transit 350 I-5 3.2 Diesel

I've seen huge differences between actual and computer calculated mpg in other vehicles. My sprinter doesn't have this option. Sent from my SM-G900P using EO Forums mobile app

new to ExpOnline, weighing options, keeping myself informed/educated

Your brother is making 60k a year after expenses? Where is this company? I want to sign up. Lol I suspect he is not telling you the whole truth. There are not that many van expediters that net 60k a year, especially with a small company that just started in the van business. But, good luck...

    Who is coming

We should have a bonfire at the expo. That would make me deadhead there from Houston.

    2014 Dodge ProMaster 3500 3.0 I-4 Diesel vs 2015 Ford Transit 350 I-5 3.2 Diesel

I would spend the $4130 now and save $355 a month on fuel for the rest of the vehicle's life. Provided the number I have seen are correct.

    2014 Dodge ProMaster 3500 3.0 I-4 Diesel vs 2015 Ford Transit 350 I-5 3.2 Diesel

If I were you, and needed a vehicle right away, I would go with the Ford over the Ram for more reasons than the ugly looks. But if you can, wait a year or 2 and you will be able to make a better decision. I know having the newest vehicle out there is cool, but resist the urge if at all possible.

Nice 81 degrees and cloudy here in Houston this morning. Perfect for an oil change. Got the used oil container ready, shouldn't be but 15 min, 20 max.

    2nd fuel tank?

I thought about it back in 2005 when I bought my Sprinter, but decided against it since it wasn't needed. I have a 26 gal tank and it lasts for 600+ miles. I usually pass through a cheaper state by the time I burn through 26 gallons. Gotta love a diesel.

    My blown engine story.

You are just like me. When something breaks, I have to take it apart to see why it broke. Let us know what you find out.

Lol. It has been cheap freight day every day for years now. Driving for the same rate today as in 1992 is cheap. At home.

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

The small gas engines don't have that much low rpm torque, so any sight of a hill signals a downshift. If you want torque, and no downshifts, get a diesel. This is the reason I won't consider a gasser. I wanted to go and test drive a diesel Transit, but changed my mind. What about if I like it...

    Cargo Van Dodge ProMaster

I woudn't be too worried about that guy's flex plate breaking. Even if the post was legit, every once in a while a bad part slips through. Does not mean that all of them have problems. My friend's ProMaster passed 50k miles and all seems good so far. A while ago he felt the transmission...

    Cargo Van Dodge ProMaster

I called it Dodge, my bad, should have said RAM. I don't really know the difference. I did not look into it since I am not interested in it at all. However, the dealer that he went to is a RAM dealer. I guess I will inform him about the RAM Commercial Truck dealer. So basically, there is not...

    Cargo Van Dodge ProMaster

My friend with his ProMaster stopped at a Dodge dealer in Dalton, GA the other day trying to get an oil change. He goes in, asks how much for an oil change on a ProMaster. The guy behind the counter goes "Pro what?" My friend pointed outside towards his ProMaster. The guy goes "never heard of...
