There’s controversy about Flying J/Pilot not Flying the American Flag at some locations. As you guys drive around our fine country, report what you see if so inclined. Location, pole/no pole, Flag/No Flag. If the poles disappear, the lack of Flags will be less obvious.

I hope we revisit this around July 1st. Anybody with a pole OOS on Memorial Day can have it repaired/replaced by July 4th IF THEY WANT TO. We’ll see how they do. I trust Flying J as much as I trust Kim Jong-Un.

How many flagpoles go down for repair ? I had a lighted flagpole for many years. Being a lightweight residential unit it did go down in a storm. It was promptly replaced. OOS once in maybe 10 years. I’ll be looking too. And if I see an empty pole, I’ll probably seek out the manager. My wife...

I have no desires to travel internationally anymore, except maybe Switzerland, but if I were in any other country I would definitely respect their flag . If I couldn’t, I’d leave. I extend the invitation to those that are here and can’t respect our flag to do the same.

Watched the playoffs recently with friends near Sacramento. Curry, who I don’t think of in this conversation, was fun to watch. Not that he’s not deserving, just not that exposed to him. Not much of a fan, but I enjoy the playoffs due to the intensity and strategy.
