I should be more specific and sorry about that. I actually just completed CDL school in March, so had never driven. Company I work for requires 6 months OTR before you can drive solo. Insurance mandate, I'm sure.

My personal concern would be the present emphasis on team drivers. Must run solo when necessary beginner requirements are completed. This team thing will not last beyond that point. Really like my current O/O and company, but if the solo driver does not open up at the end of my time? Hopefully...

Totally agree. Just finished a terrible experience with a co-driver who had no money starting out and it cost me money. Lucky to have a good fleet owner. Hopefully can team with someone solid in the future and begin learning from a trainer who actually knows expediting and trucking in general...
