At the j in Doswell va. Relocated here this morning from DC. Had 3 calls already. Turned 2 down and ok'd the 3rd which was a bid load. Come to find out that load grew too big to fit on my sprinter so it cancelled. Now waiting on the next call.
Got to the pilot in Hagerstown around 2 am and took a 3 1/2 hr nap. Left at 6 am and delivered at 0740 in Sterling va. Now about 1 mi from delivery at a Sam's Club with every other truck in town getting ready to jump back in the sack.
Feeling better. Back in service yesterday afternoon. Sunday morning pickup in Northville mi to the beltway area.
Now to make up for the lost week and a half that just went by.
One thing you have to remember this site yes it may be an expedited site, it mainly consists of cargo van, sprinter and straight truck drivers. Now there are a few tractor drivers on here but they are the minority.
I don't worry about the 50 mi per hour speed limit when I run because the fastest I am going to run my truck is 65 mph and get there when I get there. So what if I'm late, I don't care especially with the rates we are getting.
On my most recent trip to the left coast and back, I would say about 80% of the cargo vans and sprinters that either passed me or I passed them or going the other way on the freeway (ones I could see) did not have markings on them.
