    It's a safe bet most of the carriers are taking full advantage of that also.. P.S. Make yourself available to them. A lot of those drivers don't know the difference between shipping or receiving.

    I do feel bad for them. To get 95 percent of your pay or whatever it it is just isn't fair. Sheet just imagine a paid vacation all winter long.

    GM plant in Lansing announced they are shutting off second shift. 2nd shift in Lansing may come back after the startup of the new Camaro no time frame given on the Cameron. Also Lake Orion will be shutting off second shift.

    Don't forget to give credit to your cook also..A lot of times shooting the critter is easier then preparing it..Ask me how I know.. Without that good cook all the good shooting means nothing. Over the years I have ruined a bird or two. :D

    The few I have talked to in length have been couples and also company drivers. Any in depth conversations have been on job sites and have been told they stick with a few trucking company's ( freinds &,family ) and are paid all miles with all expenses paid most of the time. And at times will load...

    Over time I talked to a few of these folks and not once have I found anyone to say they would do something different in trucking..Most seem happy at it. Have had many say all costs are included up front. I also wonder what it would take to break into that market.

    Turtle has the number one answer/suggestion. I may have worded it different but he said it in proper terms.. Anything else could be considered whine/complaining so my number 2 answer would be; Drop the term Ready Now..It doesn't work and that's not what it means for the truck. #3 Learn to tell...
