    Veterans chime in!

One must remember that this time of year they will load up a semi full of 1-2 skid shipments and just warehouse it on that trailer until they are ready for it. Seen it done many a time.

    Landstar Sprinter Question

They won't do that because they need the safety numbers from that division to inflate the big truck numbers to make them look good. Plus since they are a asset only business they do not have very much overhead To "make them look good"? Each Landstar entity has their own DOT number. LEAM...

    Landstar Sprinter Question

What I'm saying is Landstar doesn't own anything. Not even the building they have their corporate offices in. They are a $2+ billion dollar company with no assets. They must be doing something right if they are that successful. When I was there they were doing something like 250 million a yr...

    Landstar Sprinter Question

Talked to a buddy of mine who still runs for them. I think he told me that they were down to 50 or so b units. I know when I was there, they had about 125 b units. Things have gone downhill and continue to go in that direction. The company continues to promote the big truck side of the...

    Landstar Sprinter Question

Just as you understand how Panther operates, I understand how Landstar works. In order to driver a sprinter and as a matter of fact a cargo van, one must have a CDL B w/Hazmat endorsement. That was what they required because Landstar wants to be #1 in Saftey. They want to set the standard for...

    Landstar Sprinter Question

One must remember Landstar is always one step ahead of DOT. That's way it always was when I was there.

    Landstar Sprinter Question

It's a fluke because they let class c license on when they have ALWAYS have been at a class b or higher.

    Landstar Sprinter Question

I'm surprised they let a class c license sign on. Always been class b or higher.

    Landstar Sprinter Question

I worked for LEA from 2002 to 2010. As far a I know the requirement was at least a Class B with an Hazmat endorsement when I was with them. I still have many friends that drive for them and they all have a class b or higher. Sounds like to me somebody in compliance is not doing their job...

    Espar Reliablity Pros Or Cons

My 2012 sprinter has an aux line off the fuel tank. No need to drop tank. Your sprinter should have one also.
