Congratulations to jjoerger.
He seldom ventures out of the Load1 thread, but he just posted he has 10 years, 1,000,000 miles + safe driving , including co-drivers, since entering expediting.
One of the good guys in the industry.
I’ve always taken steering wheel holder as a negative.
Like a trained monkey. A driver that probably lacks skills, one that doesn’t think things through. All he’s capable of is holding the wheel, not much else.
Saying any company driver is just a steering wheel holder is a bit harsh IMHO. Some are, some aren’t.
Telling a company driver he has a business is bs in my book. Just a scam to call them an independent contractor, usually with giving them little independence.
You don’t have a business until...
This looks legit to me. Unless the OP is affiliated with DKP.
His original post, 6 months ago was legit.
His thread here seems legit.
If I were a small company and I saw a chance at 15 minutes of fame, I’d ask my guys to pile on.
EO has a large history of cheerleading/Pom Poms.
And we have...
Wild tangent ?
Sounds like my wife.
Sounded like a nice side discussion to me.
Next time I send Lawrence my membership dues, I’ll ask him to have his highly paid moderators earn their pay by keeping a tighter lid on thread direction.
STAY IN YOUR LANE !
Having management aware of EO could lead to future interaction and possibly advertising.
Sounds like they’re trying to make the drivers comfortable, which is more than some carriers do.
If the company in LaVergne hired you with that crap, you may want to beg your way back in until the tickets drop off.
If you’re unemployable you shouldn’t voluntarily become unemployed.
Also, in this day and age, there’s no reason to leave one company until you feel you’re good at your next company.
Father once hit a cow in a curve.
Cow probably weighed more than a Sprinter .
He was ok
Cow, not so much.
No beef for dinner.
He was in a late 50’s/early 60’s COE.
