    Have a question

Hubby, a police officer for many many years says farmers are exempt under farm laws and do not require a CDL. As long as it is not for hire or not for interstate commerce. Different states might have different laws but that is Kansas law. :D Oh yes, my brother is a farmer in Missouri and the...

    why are owners so crooked

I didn't get my CDL with them. Neither did my friends who are Class A holders. But neither of us got our money back. Don't know anyone that did get their money back. Not the ones that got CDLs and were obligated and not the one's that didn't get CDLs with them. Bottom line, live and learn! :)

Who is the Worst or The Best owners

Yep, heard of your truck owner before. Never heard nothing but good about them. Same as with mine, great people. Ya know what I tink? I tink there is going to be bad truck owners and bad drivers. I tink there are going to be good truck owners and good drivers. Ya know, we should start a...

    why are owners so crooked

No Desperado, your obviously not understanding. The reason they owe us so much is because they required a 'savings account' with them of $6000. 00 Then the driver pays fuel and is suppose to receive 100% fuel surcharge, they pay the driver their fuel surcharge once a month but in the beginning...

    anybody noticed

Have to disagree with you OVM. Know a very sweet couple that had 3 trucks. They ended up losing the trucks when firstly they could not get good drivers in the two they weren't driving and secondly when the economy went in the tank. Guess it isn't that easy to find good drivers that will stay out...

    why are owners so crooked

Yes, nine grand is more than small claims. Sometimes you just have to chalk it up to getting experience. Think about it. Hiring a lawyer, out of service to attend court. Their attorney gets postponement, no telling how many times you would have to go to court before it actually goes before the...

Hands down I think it is us. Last load T-State gave us was on April 3. Have begged, offered to do reduced rate as low as .80 a mile, dead-headed 800 miles and still no load. I am at a loss. Never been so down as far as expediting. To the point that we're actually discussing going home. Haven't...
