whats this truck weigh? Seems to me that the engine is really underpowered for anything appoarching 25k 250hp puts you in the hino performance catigory (ugg) I would dump the truck! I would guess that your never going to get it running well as its working to hard. With a 3126 I am also...

    Steerable lift axle

Please do a search for the hendrickson website they have great examples of how the bridge laws work, its actually not that simple two seperate calcs required most of the time depending on the location of the lift axle you will be way under the capacity of the second group of axles. When i...

    Steerable lift axle

I was the guy with the steerable lift axle.... I recomend a steerable when you need to locate the lift axle some distance away from the drives. The steerable will allow you to avoid tire scrub on the lift axle. I would caution you about the location of the axle controls as at least 3...

    Panther Refusal Stats

Its 67 percent now but what happens when its 50,40,30 or even 25 percent? Just another way for corporate to put pressure on you to take runs that work for them but make you nothing. I would vote with my feet and leave this carrier right away! You guys aready work for way less then I would...

    Odd ST configuration

no what i am saying is that when the payload is very heavy (more then most of you can or want to carry) the lift axle is used to take the weight off the front axle. i really only use it on heavy bulky loads that fill the box. i dont care what configiration you have, putting over 20k in the box...

    Odd ST configuration

steerable axle works by following front axle ie resistance turning is only slight about 11 to 15 degrees off of center just enough to prevent scrubing of tires uses a regular steering axle with a bar connecting both tires with shock absorbers to compensate for bump steer. see the watson...

    Odd ST configuration

I haul a fair share of sister company freight (ie Ranger) the loads are quite a bit heavier then the traditional expedite freight last load 19000# from IN to las vegas. The cost benifit ratio is nonexistant paid $3000 for the axle installed with wheels and tires more then paid for itself...

    Odd ST configuration

i am the guy with the truck the steerable tag is designed so i can load up to 27 K in the 24ft box without going over on the steers have 2 150 tanks so full of fuel its easy to be over with freight.
