    Santa and Jesus are white!

Right on many points. Christmas is not in the Bible, there is no command to celebrate the birth, (other than every day) and is a mishmash of pagan ritual. There is not one command for followers of Christ to partake in any of this, but many passages denouncing this kind of celebration. Not sure...

    Santa and Jesus are white!

From the Christian point of view? 1 Tim [4] Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. [5] Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith...

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

Leave it to EO to help pass the weather in Ole Virginny. The sword is not to divide humanity. Humanity does that all on it's own; sometimes through pride, and sometimes it's the outright shaking a fist at God. One would need an exposition of Genesis for expanding that thought. That's too...

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

Turtle is right, from the view of non-believers, Mr Twain included. Every Christian believes he hears directly from God? LOL Those arguments/statements from non-believers brings a chuckle for sure.....and standard fair. (or is that fare?) Cue the Turtle. You are correct in assertion that...

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

I'll second that LOL thing. :D Don't think your outgunned at all, and hope you don't feel any attack by those professing faith. It should never be approached that way. Nothing wrong IMV about enjoying a quality musical production. It's just not biblical and since you never made that...

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

Both are quality productions using gifted and skilled people; one a musical, the other of course being a movie. They are similar only in the way they were embraced by a substantial amount of people who profess to be Christian. You mention those who raised a little ruckus over the productions...

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

Bowled over might be a good description. Much like the new version of blasphemy.....Passion of the Christ. This would be the epitome of the total apostasy of the modern church. Neither of these productions are biblical, nor do they convey principal. Any true Christian would shun them both.

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

Right you are LOS. Here's a guy., who not only confirms your point, but may I be so bold as to state...my point as well. Give this man a KJV Bible and a Sprinter Van. Why King James Bible Only? Bible Questions with Michael Pearl - Episode 027 - YouTube

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

Beware of any "new" books found or written. The KJV of the book is the translation running from the time of translation, until now. Pretty sure God did not run anything new by us after the original. Many a "man" has added to, and subtracted from, the original text. Change a word here, add a...

Jailed for a 5 cent theft

Back in the day.....one may have been approached in this situation, and perhaps sternly told they could not hook up to that power source. Would even go so far as to say, most people would not have said anything. (my opinion having lived in more simple and common sense era) Arrested? Handcuffs...

Religious dudes and dudettes - a Judas question

Not sure of the question? Two separate descriptions of one death....by hanging. Judas hung himself over guilt of betrayal, the other is a description of aftermath. No contradiction at all. Bible Study - Aceldama ;)

The Sins Of The Fathers ...

1 Corinthians 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape that ye may be able to bear it." If you be His, God will never bring...

    Michigan cider mills

Love the stuff. There's one over by where I reside, near Freeland MI. Grew up in Old Thresher town located in Iowa. Midwest Old Settlers & Threshers They always had great cider, sorghum, and the 3 foot old fashioned licorice whips. Cider always brings back memories of riding the train...

    Speed Kills .... Your Pocketbook

I disagree with the study in raising any speed limits so people can drive as they see comfortable. Don't care what the percent is. That's my take, opinion, and final thoughts. Please proceed. :)

    Speed Kills .... Your Pocketbook

Nope. Don't need to watch it again. Not debating the content or study brought forth in the video. I just happen to disagree with it. I've seen these "safe and prudent " drivers in action. Blowing by on the right, flashing past you by inches, ride up on the guy in left lane, hit brakes, hit...

    Fukushima

Understand your convinced all is OK in the gulf, and gushers followed by subsequent leaks are normal, or run parallel to daily occurrence. Won't argue those points. Question though? Your research shows; what happens when you mix Corexit with crude oil? Moving on to Fukushima...
