I guess what I was asking was, will the diesel that's escaping through the crack in the cup/sleeve collect in the coolant overflow tank? It does not run hot, I have great power, great heater and no checkengine light, trying to be optimistic here ya know

On a long trip I get fuel in my overflow tank, I'm not loosing coolant but you can see the diesel floating on top of the coolant in the overflow tank, oil is fine and some coolant present in the water separator, truck runs at 150 to 160 degrees, I'm most likely taking in for a pressure test but...

Ty guys, I do appreciate your help and I know many of you have already went through the motions in many of these repairs, I will say compared to our last truck with the mbe-900 this cat9 is a whole lot better

My overflow jug is backing up, it has that diesel smell and my fuel consumption is through the roof, can the diesel back into the system into the coolant?

Just pulled the maint records and found that all the injectors and huey pump replaced 14 months ago, they did not do a flush and did not replace the heater core, smell was evident before injectors were replaced, I just replaced the heater core and hoses a few months back, I'm going to replace...

Will diesel in the coolant cause the hoses to deteriorate? Its almost like the coolant us seeping through the hoses, the heater core was plugged I replaced it and also replaced the hoses but the smell has come back, still got heat and not overheating or no check engine light

Color has darkened a bit, no check engine light it smells like laqure or ureathene could be diesel I guess but its a very odd smell,
