Anyone that cannot succeed driving for Expediter Services is going to fail regardless of whoever they drive for. Expediter Services is one of the best expedite companies there is. We drove for them and can honestly say they are a straight up company and are ALWAYS available to their drivers, not...

    holiday weekend

Can't remember the last time I ate at a restaurant or fast food place. Got sick from a FJ waitress a couple years ago so I make it a point to make my own food. Don't want no dirty, or sick, hands in my plate. Yep so I guess it's BBQ chicken and burger and a nice tan for the holiday.

Was in Atlanta yesterday, 20 miles from home but freight called! Aaaahhh yes, the sweet sound of money, couldn't say no! So here I sit in Toledo Ohio today, loadless, 3/3 team! Looks like I'm gonna be here until Tuesday! Oh well, guess I'll just have to have a BBQ and work on my tan. Hmmmm I...

"Could you move your truck so I can park?"

ROFL Been hit twice, first time was a Werner driver that was in training. He wasn't backing, he was trying to pull out, turned before he was clear and took off my mirror. Second time was backed into a dock at DSL when a DSL t/t decided to back into the same dock, unfortunately he forgot to wait...

    Happy/thankful thread

Thankful? A warm summer day, a bird singing a song. A flowers bloom, a butterflies dance. A sons love, a husbands smile. I'm thankful for this thing called life. Thank you lord, I'm most thankful for you. :)

    Whitewolfs lawsuit?

The thread started by Whitewolf has been locked. I really don't think it quite fair. Whitewolf had his say but no other poster has the opportunity to defend Tri-State, or should I say defend ourselves. Remember. . . all of us working at and driving for Tri-State make-up our company. :o We...

    A quick story

We just had a similar issue. We got to the pick-up and found they had 12 pallets. Only 10 pallets fit on our truck. It was looking like we were going to lose the load. The weight was only 5000 pds but the issue was the number of pallets. Somehow, they did manage to get 11 pallets on and sent us...

    Driving Etiquitte

Yep, know what ya mean, then 4-wheelers is got to be the BIGGEST thing that irratates me. Funny how I find I have much less patients with the 4-wheelers then with other trucks or expedite vans. Just no patients at all for them 4-wheelers. Don't know how some of them ever even got licensed to...

    Status Clarification

I plan to never be a 'veteran' truck driver since I am not a 'truck driver'. I'm just a mom (heeheehee notice I said MOM not Mother :D), wife, grandma that happens to drive a truck. :p

    Driving Etiquitte

I have to agree with PJJJJ on this one. I drive a straight truck. When faced with this situation, as we all are at one time or another, I will speed up, or in some instances, slow down a little to get away from the leap-frog truck. I am sure it is fustrating for the TT to slow to a crawl when...
