    Hazmat Question?

I don't know for sure but I don't think Tri-State gives any routing. Do any of you Tri-State drivers know if Hazmat directions are provided through the company?

    Hazmat Question?

Ok, thanks Cheri. I'm about 95% sure I can pass the hazmat right now. Keith and I go back and forth asking each other questions and I'm getting pretty good at it. I am really just stressed over trying to find info on how to route for hazmat as I can't find anything that explains it. Like I...

Finally came face to face with another EO member

Was at Tri-State barn on Wed and had the pleasure to finally come face to face with another EO member. I had the pleasure of meeting 'The enemy' and 'Jenny' at Tri-State on Wednesday night and I would like everyone to know his handle does not fit him at all! What a very nice pleasant young...

    Hazmat Question?

Thanks Cheri, I am studing the book, writing it, typing it, reading it, making myself numerous test from it, ect. Trying to make sure everything is sticking upstairs and not escaping out through the ears. The hazmat portion of the Georgia DMV is 20 pages including the definitions, requirements...

    Hazmat Question?

Keith and I have been diligently studying for our hazmat test. We plan to add the hazmat endorsement and passports to our CDL's as soon as we can get home to do so. I am starting to think I might actually be able to pass the test. (Have been a little nervous about it as several people have told...

I agree with you Moose. I am going to be adding Hazmat to my CDL once we are able to get home (well that is if I am smart enough to pass the test, the study guide appears pretty daunting to me). Haven't seen home since Xmas so haven't been able to take the test and get the clearances. Reason we...

    Again....Mississippi

Got stopped by a DOT officer on the Oklahoma turnpike the other day for an inspection. Officer Housely wanted to do a level 1 but since I already had my 09 sticker said he would go ahead and do a level 3. Officer Housely has to be one of the friendliest officers I have ever had the pleasure to...

    Dead Head miles a Deduction?

Fkatz, if you read the original post from what I can understand he is saying he is a driver that does not own the vehicle that he is driving. It is my understanding you can only claim milage if the vehicle belongs to you, not to someone else. Would not the actual owner be the one that gets to...

    Dead Head miles a Deduction?

If you are a driver that drives for an owner operater (you do not own your truck or van) you do not get to claim milage. You can only claim milage if you own the vehicle.

    Time for the deals!

Sounds nice but not many of us have that kind of cash laying around to buy it with. Can't see a bank wanting to finance right now with the economy and the banking industry the way it is. :(

Been sitting here at the Flying J in Laredo since last Thursday. Got to where I don't want to do Texas anymore. Everytime we have a bad week it is because we were dispatched to Texas. This time Laredo, last time Dallas, time before was El Paso, time before that was Laredo. Seriously thinking...
