    Mechanics can't be believed!

Exactly. I try to stay away from them as much as I can. Every time I visit one of them places I have to fix something that they screwed up. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

    Mechanics can't be believed!

Hear you, tk. I wonder how some of these dealers are staying in business. Wonder what would happen if we would do such work as some of these mechanics. Glad you got it working.

    Welcome September

Well, don't know about that. I bought my dipstick in 2005 or 2005 and I have been carrying it in the Sprinter ever since. How many times have I used it on the road? Exactly zero. I used to use it every 60k at home, after changing the fluid, but I stopped even that because it always showed good...

    Welcome September

If you are in TN this weekend, I have an extra dipstick that someone gave me, so you can have it. Just meet me somewhere.

    Welcome September

I am on the road now and my sprinter is at home, but will be home this weekend. If noone else helps you by then, I will measure it and tell you.

    Welcome September

At the beginning of my Sprinter expediting days I did lots of Florida loads and I did not stop at the Agricultural thing until one day a nice lady chased me down and pulled me over. She checked my paperwork and then let me go, but told me that I need to go through next time. Since that moment I...

    Is it possible?

In this day and age, 3k after expenses is pretty hard to do even for a seasoned expediter in a van/sprinter. My advice: forget about the sprinter. There are too many of them out there. Get your cdl and drive a straight for an owner for a while. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

Buying sprinter vs 10-14k GVWR box truck?

How about if you get injured and can't work for 4 months? Do you have the resources to survive until you can work again? Ask Turtle how long he was out when he broke his wrist. How about you get into an accident, they decide to fix your van instead of totaling it? Now they take their sweet time...

Buying sprinter vs 10-14k GVWR box truck?

My rule of thumb is 6 months of expenses. This way if you don't have a load in 6 months you can still eat and keep the lights on. So sit down and calculate it thoroughly before you jump in. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
