    I know of 2 sisters from TN that drive.Anytime a trip becomes uncomfortable for them or takes them into area that they do not wish to go in, their Father has a heart attack. Poor guy has had about 10 of them that I know about.

    CDL

    A Class B CDL is all that is required for a D unit. However if the unit has air brakes you will need a air brake endorsement. Also most carriers want you to have a haz/mat endorsement.

    Excellent advice, some carriers also record all of the conversations between dispatch and the drivers. Years ago before Q/C we used a small casset recorder to record directions etc. More then once it worked to our advantage.

    For routine shipments 99% of the time the shippers and receivers will do the loading and unloading . Some carries have special divisons that will require you to do the labor. However this usually pays well. Sure you want to leave the land of the Frozen Chosen and come down here to this zoo.

    I thought that story plus the so called Mexico trips were bogus. To me it was a prank trying to rub it it in that the authors were making mega bucks while the rest of us peons sat and did nothing. Wonder why Team drivers have not responded.

    Weave left EO due to some difficulties with another EO member. He went to another Expediting site and appears to have left that one also. He knew trucks and was a good contributor to EO.

    My old FL 70 has developed a crack that is growing on the hood front end near the grill. Question,are there fiberglass repair kits and are they easy to use. Hate to pay a shop $90 per hour fro a minor repair.
