Protest on Wall St. What the news media won't show you

Maybe the press is saying anything because they don't want to make life any harder on their cousins. The press=Zionists Wall Street and Bankers=Zionists

How much time do you need to accept a load

Well it's my understanding that companies like Panther will tell the customers they will have the freight moved before even offering it to the trucks. If no one accepts it they broker it out. At least that is how some one in the office explained it to me when I asked. They could be wrong, and/or...

    tri state

When I was with Tri State the t/ts did do some truckload freight to get out of the dead areas.

    Friendly Reminder

When I tested for my CDL I had to drive on interstate. That wasn't the case when I got my regular driver's license. I do agree with you though. It only makes sense. Personally I think high school students should be required to take driver's education. Why not educate them on it? It is a part of...

NRA has Obama in the cross hairs

TallCal, You would know alot about the size of other men's (?????????????????????) brains wouldn't you? I guess you are a "head" doctor now. You call yourself open minded, but you are only open minded about people that you agree with. Other than you are a name calling, finger pointing, liberal...

    Friendly Reminder

Like I've said on here before, you can't convince of some people of anything and they always have to have the last word.

    finding your own loads

I would shy away from UShip.com if I were you. It is free to look at the loads, but booking one isn't that easy because the people usually what for the lowest offer and most times have a couple of weeks to wait before needing to ship whatever it is. Long story short it's cheap freight and I...

    Sterling 10-speed

After driving it for a little while you will become good at it. Sometimes I used the clutch to get it to slide into gear better. I never really double clutched because I just wasn't good at it. When my dad and grandpaw taught me they taught me how to float, or sweet shift, the gears. Whatever...

from the Fedex forum: Air Tabs

Our Hyundai Santa Fe has these things built on to the trim around the glass back by the storage area that look kinda like air tabs. I've had the car for a little over 2 years and just noticed it a few days ago. It has the glass on the front and back doors and then another glass behind the back...

    Friendly Reminder

I just wanted to post a friendly reminder to all the drivers both veteran and newbies alike. Whatever you do, don't forget your following distance. You have to keep it. Yesterday we had a fatality accident here in town that could have had a little better outcome had someone kept there following...

    How Do You Get Home?

I wouldn't take hauling freight you found as a sign of a carrier's strength or weakness. In the case of Panther I know a guy that loves drives an E unit solo. He gets high miles a lot of the time on weekends going to the b.f.e. and then calls broker contacts he has and generally gets a better...

    Which truck???

Others may or may not agree with me, but I would have oil samples pulled and analysis done on them and the trucks dynoed before making a decision. Have you had an opportunity to inspect the trucks and maintenance records on these trucks? Your driver might want the Pete now, but if it turns out...

    Cracked Windshield

Another thing to remember is when you have a small chip you can get it fixed at different place for a lot cheaper than what it costs to replace a windshield. Plus if the chip is caught in time and fixed there is a good chance it will never crack.

Where is Bill any one seen Bill what happend to Bill?

Kevin,Marvin,IRT,Subzero,or whoever else you may be when you read this, I guess you are trying to hint around that you did some kind of Navy Seal stuff? When I was reading that I was thinking about those greasy truck drivers that sit around the counter at the truck stop and talk about all the...

NEWS Flash FEDEX CC Tractor Trailer spoted in Catcus Land Fill in Phoenix AZ

That happened in 2005. I hope for people running for them now that they got that fixed. It was a string of bad decisions that put me there. First of I had a hands off owner, which was good sometimes, but pretty much told me to do my thing. I took a back haul (paid good) from San Antonio to...

That isn't a long nose. If you want to see a long nose look at a 379 Extended hood. Plus you can get a bigger sleeper put on that truck they just choose not to.

This isn't intended to be a personal attack, or any other kind of attack for that matter. It is a question asked out of curiosity. Hexmode, what is your connection to the expedite industry? I'm not trying to be rude but that is what this site is for. There are strictly political forums out there...

    $0.68 per mile???

Col, How is it a bad deal on the brokers part to make 3 grand for doing some paperwork? Why should they get over 50% of the pie? Seems to me you off all people would know brokers aren't incurring that kind of expense.
