I don't plan on getting the vaccine. I'm not in a high risk group and I absolutely hate needles. I don't even get the regular flu shot.

We got our truck fixed in KC, then took a load from Des Moines to Jackson, MN and were predispatched to one going from Orange City, IA to Cedar Rapids. Now we are at the Iowa 80 truck stop. It was snowing here this morning when we woke up. :(

It's not so much the traffic in NYC that is the problem for us. There are too many road restrictions for trucks in NYC for us to want to deal with, plus the tolls, so we won't go there. Anywhere else in the country is fine. :)

Very sorry to hear about your dog Jack. :( We are in Kansas City, MO. Getting our truck worked on at the moment. Turns out that the rust in the fuel tanks wasn't the cause of the problem the truck is having because it's still happening. Oh what fun. :rolleyes:

We won't go to NYC or the surrounding boroughs, but it's not because we are "fraidy cats". It's because to us it's not worth all the stress, headaches, irritation and frustration.

Only the drivers from SD are required to wear those! :D

Sweltering in Laredo at Flying J. It's hot and humid and we're 7th out and the (*****insert some not so nice words here****) battery set up our truck owner INSISTED on isn't worth a crap! So we are idling.. again. :rolleyes:

We are picking up in Troy, MI and heading for Laredo. The load doesn't deliver until Monday though, so it will be a weekend trip.

We are still at home. We thought we would be going back in service tomorrow morning but once we took the truck up to Interstate yesterday we found out we have to have the fuel tanks replaced because there is rust in them and that is what is causing all the problems with the truck not running...
