    Vans/Sprinters ONLY

I believe the rates are a result of the van being a non commecial vehicle. We all know if you were a commercial vehicle you would log and be held accountable as are straights and tractors. All the more reason for you to demand logging, scaling , and full recognition as a viable commercial...

    Super Cool Load

We have had two loads for this project. The navigation system and the heat shield used for re-entry. at both locations where we picked up we got a mini tour of the facility. That was worth the price of admission so to speak. It is a cool perk that we really enjoy as we RV around the country.:D

NYC mayor, major CEO's are plantation owners.

I have no problem welcoming new people from other countries to the USA. I am proud we have a standard of living that is still desirable enough that someone would uproot themselves and their family to partake in our lifestyle. THAT BEING SAID: I am 100% against giving benefits to anyone that are...

    "Touchdown Jesus" Burns....

What about Paul.........hmmmmmm Not much written about his death. Much speculation. It is interesting that many scholars believe Pauls influence and teaching far surpassed those of Peters and see Paul as the 1st head of the new religion taught by Christ.

    "Touchdown Jesus" Burns....

You can be such a downer. A little levity aint appreciated around here. BUT, since you asked, It is the belief of the Catholic Church that Jesus Christ established the the church. His twelve apostles were sent forth to further Christs teaching. It is argued Peter was the Bishop of Rome. Based on...

    "Touchdown Jesus" Burns....

Catholics arent shaken in their belief, more like shaking and cautious, "Oh yea, bring it" I believe the last Catholic to say that was, ummmmm crucified.

FedEx Custom Critical vs Panther Expedited

I would recommend you looking for a 60/40 split. The basic difference between a 40/60 and a 60/40 is who pays for the fuel. In three years of being on a 60/40 split we have consistantly netted 3-4% / run more than if on a 40/60. If you gross $150,000 on the year, thats another $4500 to $6000 in...

FedEx Custom Critical vs Panther Expedited

If you are so concerned about an extra 200/week ( I know that could be a lot depending on circumstance ) but in this industry thats a mini, an extra run something you take because it fits a time slot and allows you get back on the board for another run. No guarantees out here, if you need that...

    THE DCAs OF EXPEDITING

The "variables" that you mention could turn that $1.37 into less than a buck in a heartbeat. As others have said, each run has to be profitable. Do I ever take a skinny deal, yes I do. Not often, but I have offered my services when "no-one" else was available. Sometimes those "favors" had a...

I couldnt agree with you more. Every industry has its casual labor force. Sometimes it the Christmas rush or harvest time. Others may need someone on Tuesday because it is really busy. We all dont have to be full time. dabluzman

    How foolish some members are....

Lets see, 52 weekends = 104, 8 to 12 national holidays, 1 ( 5 days) to 4 (20 days) weeks vacation time depending on longevity. Thats a range of: 117 to 136 days some get off every year. 32 to 36% time off. The world isnt foolish, this the way it is. Some work overtime, some a second job...

    Glitch in the CLink system?

Anytime we want to go off the grid, we head for I81. We get lost in a second. Once we got a panicky call from dispatch. Seems we were to be at the drop in 20 minutes in the Roanoke VA area, yet we were shown still at the crossing at 1000 Islands. We kind of laughed as we read their message...
